I think Luongo will be a perfect goalie for Maple Leafs, but the problem is the price. What will Maple Leafs give to trade Luongo?

Most folks don’t live in Vancouver and so they don’t listen to this arrogant, anti-social “narcissistic” liar the way we do almost weekly here on our local Team 1040 “house radio”. The bottom line is that anything Gillis says is usually the complete opposite of the truth. If he says that the world is round, then you can be pretty darn sure that it’s flat ! I’m admittedly now fascinated by this Canuckle conundrum and yet I have no sympathy for Gillis. Simply put, he is the architect of what is likely to become the biggest financial blunder ever in the team’s history …

I think mervsvikes must be really confused just where and for whom Luongo currently plays (or is under contract to). Luo doesn’t play for Toronto – yet.

Something “may or may not happen” meaning if Luongo doesn’t add a few teams for Vancouver to negotiate with, they would make him a high-priced back-up? Or teams have to up their offers if they want Luongo?

That’s about the only two interpretations I could think of where MG doesn’t come off as slightly unhinged.
