Report: Habs don’t want Jagr

So remember a couple of hours ago when we passed along Darren Dreger’s report that Jaromir Jagr wanted to play for the Canadiens?

Well, according to Rick Moffat of CJAD 800 in Montreal, the Habs aren’t interested

“Jagr not coming to ‪Habs. Agent and former Hab Petr Svoboda confirms [GM Marc] Bergevin called this morning to say no interest in Jagr,” Moffat tweeted.

Whether that’s that or it’s just negotiating remains to be seen – maybe the Habs are interested in Jagr, but not at $4 million.
