For a floater, he did pretty well last year. Can’t wait to see what happens when he plays for a team on the way up instead of down.

I concur with your analysis … the Flames are in a “bad way” these days, no two ways about that … and with the lone exception of Iggy, pretty much everything on their roster is “toxic” … in fact, this floater Jokinen could well be described as “Exhibit A” in terms of all that is wrong Calgary today … it’s just a shame that now the decent folk of Winnipeg must also find out the hard way too …

Between this and the Poni signing, they quietly did pretty good for a team that was only 6 points out of the playoffs. They lost Glass and may lose Jones, but they are staying relevant.

I don’t understand why the Flames didn’t try harder to keep him, they had faith in him when nobody else did, it paid off, and they let him walk, and then go out and spend on others. They knew what the had, he was great on the PP, they are making signings trying to make the playoffs, but passed on Olli. I don’t get it.
