You are seriously going to tell me with a straight face that for the past decade teams like the Kings, Panthers, Predators, and Phoenix have the top 4 fan bases in the NHL? Balderdash.

have any experience being in each NHL citiy to do your determination of the top 5 hockey fan bases? There’s nothing scientific to your argument, just your opinion. Opinion’s are like a$$holes, everyone’s got one.

Actually knowing the game of hockey. Teams’ fan bases you can automatically rule out over past decade as not the top 5 hockey fan bases-

-Panthers
-Lightning
-Hurricanes
-Coyotes
-Stars
-Blue Jackets
-San Jose
-Los Angeles (yes, they may have made great strides, but for sports, it will forever be a Lakers town)
-New York (both teams, as New York is either baseball or football, maybe the Knicks)
-Pittsburgh (Steelers town)
-Calgary (let’s face it, bullriding draws more of a crowd on regualr basis)
-Atlanta/Winnipeg
-Vancouver
-Edmonton
-Chicago (Baseball and Football are the draw there)
-Minnesota
-Buffalo
-Nashville (don’t kid yourselves down there)
-Washington (Redskins draws better)

Did I miss any others?

That only leaves Detroit, Philly, Toronto, Montreal and Boston for the top 5

Haha I am sure he feels that NJ has the best fans in the world, just like LA players said last year…. However the top 4 fan bases in the NHL over the past decade has without a doubt been Toronto, Montreal, Philadelphia and Detroit…

Reports are that Moose signed to stay with the Devils as well, so both goalies are back. Marty 2 yr/$9m, Moose 2 yr/$2.8m – both have full no trade (actually Marty’s might be no movement). Per various reports on yahoo’s puck daddy twitter feed.

Marty indicated he’ll finish the contract.

We got 2 years to actually really finally plan for the goalie position now
