How about Vanek also complaining?
How about the fact that almost every player we sign here produces a lot less then they did with their former teams, examples include Erhoff, Lieno, Torres and Boyes. Search the Buffalo news for a series of articles last week as to how much worse players that sign here play.
How can anyone defend a coach of a team that didn’t even make the playoffs for a decade, but he still kept his job?
It might be ridiculous that a players wants to be coddled and questioned about things like family, but a good coach realizes some players need things like that and does it.

PA wasn’t much of a two way player either. BUF has a number of nice Fs, but nobody in JT’s category and, obviously, neither did St Louis. Suspect Boyes’ production numbers will be better than before.

No kidding. Funny how I haven’t heard any players good enough that the Sabres DIDN’T kick their asses to the curb whining about how mean coach Lindy doesn’t like them very much. Just mail-in busts like Boyes.

at 1 year and 1 M I think it was worth just about any team int he league to take a flyer on him. The bruins should have tried to add him to the mix for that price.

Two players (Roy’s the other) coming off horrible, career-low seasons complaining the coach was too hard on them doesn’t mean it’s time to fire the coach, it means its time to cut the dead weight off the roster. Lindy was asked to coach Team Canada in the Olympics, which obviously means he’s well thought of in the league. If he got fired he’d probably have a job the next day. Ruff’s not the problem, soft, heartless players are.
