I “deal with it” everyday by recalling how, after the hit, my favourite team absolutely obliterated the Canucks, thereby shutting up the idiot Vancouver media, the idiot Vancover fans, AND the idiot Canucks players who had acted as if their name was already engraved on the Cup when the season began. By the way, I have always lived in Vancouver, I love the city, but it was soooo sweet to see the air get let out of that balloon.

Absolutely. I’m not gonna get into the hit again, it was a late hit. We can all agree. (less than 2 seconds after possession was lost, on his own blue line, in the SCF … but yes late.)

I only ask anyone who’s going to sit here and try and a paint a hard nosed, honest, blue collar D man like Rome as a “cheap”, “dirty”, “dbag” who no one shouldever pick up … to please do us all a favour and take their head out of their ass.

One hit, that didn’t even come close to some of the crap we saw in this years playoffs, does not make a mans career.

Anyone who has watched the Canucks for more than the SCF knows that Aaron Rome is not a dirty player, as the Horton hit was the only questionable hit of his career. People who say otherwise are just showing their ignorance.

“Rome is a dirty player because he gave a [probably] dirty hit in the 1 game I watched him play in.”

Please only comment on players you have seen regularly. It makes the conversation exhaustingly tedious.

With Gragnani, Ballard, and Alberts all fighting for those 5,6,7 spots, and young guys like Connauton and Sauve pushing from the AHL, there really isn’t room for Rome there anyways. And, it was a clean hit in terms of contact, but a late, predatory hit, which makes it dirty overall.

The hit was borderline clean. He was suspended by Colie Campbell’s (Greg’s Daddy) flunkie Mike Murphy.

Funny Bruin fans can dish it, but can’t take it.

Especially when talking about cheap shots. Their team is loaded with cheap shot artists. Sucker puncher Horton got what was coming. Deal with it.
