Also proves that Holmgren wants to keep the core of the team together instead of blowing it up for a big name defenseman. Normally a good idea, except the flyers need a big name defenseman.

I wouldn’t say a team that gets JVR is on the winning side of anything…..by the way…. gotta love that penalty he took to seal the playoff fate of a team that got there without his help…
