Prust will be greatly missed. He fits Rangers style hockey so what will become of the physicality if we lose him. We lost him briefly during the playoffs and we saw how well that turned out for us.

Prust is a really solid 4th line player, and it will be sad to see him go. With that said, his role is fairly small and him not being re-signed won’t hurt the Rangers at all.

I assume Sather heard from Prust’s agent and heard how much he wanted. He could be just letting an asset go, but there is probably a reason for it.

The team is run by a bunch of clowns, hence the 1 cup since 1941. Passing on Matteau for Skjei, an elite skater who is soft, is pathetic, and a championship organization that wins cups like the devils get him instead. If they let prust go, which seems inevitable, and sign Konopka, this team will be cursed another 54 years.
