This new ownership are hardcore Blues fans themselves. If they don’t have the money to go get big name players when the team needs one, what business would they have owning them?

I’m a huge blues fan, but where do you expect the money to come from. The new owners pockets aren’t deep enough to find that kind of investment. Also Coliacovo is an unrestricted free agent that I don’t see back because he is so injury prone. Think the blues will sign a top 4 d-man but don’t see Suter or Weber wearing the note next year.

ok Army, you want to take it to the next level? sign Suter and Weber- we have more than enough cap space for both of them. after that package up Jackman and Coliacovo and a draft pick or 2 in exchange for Nash. then take a shot at Parise too.
that would leave us with the best defensive core in the NHL and plug a couple hole on offense.

Shattenkirk, Petreangelo, Polak, Suter, Weber, with your choice of Cole, Huskins, or Russel to fill out the last spot.

scary huh? and thats just the d- men.
