First, this profile needs updating. Gally is 6'3" and over 200 lbs. Also, it's possible his injury will scare teams, but it shouldn't. Reinjury of an ACL reconstruction is rare among NHL players.

Unfortunately the one prominent exception has been Canadien defenseman Andrei Markov, so possibly the Habs may be scared off Gally and take Quebec Remparts star and Patrick Roy protege Mikhail Grigorenko.

That would leave Gally to the Isles at #4. Interestingly enough, it was watching John Tavares play a junior hockey game that inspired Gally to pursue his junior career in North America. He'd be a great 4th overall pick for the Isles.

Sarnia was only 7th in the OHL, not too much were expected from them, the 2 of them played well enough offensively (terrible in their own end) but in the end Galchenyuk won't fall past the Habs at 3.

It's still a team game.
.
Consider the possibility that they wouldn't have even made the playoffs had it not been for a couple star players.
.

So I'm relatively new to following prospects pre-draft, and i have a question for all of you hockey pundits out there: It says in the article that the Sarnia Sting were eliminated in the first round. Why doesn't that seem to effect Yakupov's or Galchenyuk's worth? Wouldn't it be worrisome that the team that has arguably the two most highly touted offensive players in this year's draft couldn't make it out of the first round?
