Hey, if Mike can return to his form of last fall, signing him to a 1yr-5million contract seems like a great deal for the Caps. Mike Green playing like the Mike of “yester-year” ( i.e pre-injuries) is absolutely worth the money, and with a one-yr deal they have the chance to see if can make a comeback w/out the risk of a multi-year contract bust.
Hell, I’d take that deal over a long-term Crosby package any day (they may not even insure that guy).

this is just to keep the fans happy. this guy is not worth 5 million, but they have green’s gang in the corner of the verizon center. he will bring in revenue in jersey sales and tickets cause caps fans are stupid.
