Iam 50 now, went to my first game in1969 vs Minnesota, sat with my face up against the glass ,you could get seats anywhere ! Gump Worsley was the goalie for the Stars, the Flyers lost 3-0 on a Lou Nanni hat trick ! Was 11-12 when I witnessed both cups ! Sat in the very last row of the SPECTRUM when Dave Shultz hammered Dale Rollf against the Rangers to send them to the finals against the Bruins ! These were the greatest moments of my life sports wise ! This was a time before cable, would listen to west coast games on the radio till the wee hours of the morning then go to school ! The Flyers are my Yankees ! I made sure I seen the greatest player of all time Wayne Gretzky at the spectrum with the KINGS at the time ,I believe it was his only visit other that with the Oilers, 87 finals playoff finals could not afford those tickets ! I made sure I did that , I made sure I seen the greatest player of all time ! My post have been bitter and sour till this point ! When I seen the Kings parade it brings back memories,memories that I could only wish to relieve again ! Iam not jealous no more because I remember the joy the cup gave me ,congratulations to the KINGS and their fans, its the greatest !!!!!!!!!!!!! I would just like to experience it again .
