I think this year’s crop would most benefit those with multiple picks as there doesn’t seem to be any runaway winners in the top 10. As good as I hear Nail and Grigs are, I don’t hear anyone saying they’ll be the obvious 1-2 choices. Whatever Fletch decides to do, he’s smart enough to let them develop before bringing them up, unlike Risebrough. Next season can’t come quick enough though.

Look at their track record on those fronts (goaltending in particular) over the past few years. Trading that pick to get a proven goalie might be a better bet, rather than wasting a high pick on another failed experiment. (Still curious to see if Reimer can develop, but the damage may have been done there).
