CBC are doing their job a lot better than you’re doing yours, Burke.

You’re heading up the most disgraceful era in the history of the most popular hockey team in the world, with revenues greater than any club, and a green light maximum bankroll to assemble a team.

All I hear from this guy now is “blah blah blah, I’m Brian Burke, who are you?”

Burke has proven me wrong. I used to think he was a good GM. I also thought he would make something out of the Leafs. Instead the teams he makes these big moves with end up winning cups (can anyone say The Bruins).

Burke had tried to get several media members in Vancouver fired many years ago. Seems things never change. He should focus on his train-wreck of a hockey team instead of what Elliot Friedman is saying.

My guess is he actually has talked and just is pissed it got out. Welcome to the 21st century where news travels fast. Imagine if the internet and twitter were around in 88 when Gretzky was traded. Burke needs to chill. Everything is always someones fault and they are out to get him.
