you are an idiot the refs ignored what should have been a boarding call by stoll on gionta, which led to the first 3 goals. And if a ref were to stop you from playing your man who happens to be arguably one of the 3 best players on the opposing team, which would also lead to a goal you would not be making the same argument

Its not that things aren’t going the Devils way, its that they are choking big time. Its not bad luck that Steve Bernier drove Rob Scuderi head into the glass, and the five minute call was warrented (and I think automatic when a boarding penelty results in injury). It was an awful play, and the Devils looked terrible on the penelty kill. Thats a self inflicted injury that has nothing to do with the way things bounce.

The only thing that really went against the Devils was the linemen getting in the way right before the 4th goal. Still though, thats not the main reason why that puck found the net… it was the Devils breakdown following that fluke occurence that resulted in the goal.

I think the refs blew it to an extent, but it was a bad hit.
Absolutely nothing (calls included) has gone the Devils way tonight.

Neutral fan here. It’s been an odd playoff for sure, looking to come to an end tonight.
I will miss hockey dearly until October.
