I’ve noticed they tend to favor reporting on the Devils as well. It is always about why they lose and what Parise and Kovalchuck are going to do next game. Kovalchuck sucks that’s why you aren’t seeing any action from him. I personally can’t wait for the Kings to beat them tomorrow, and not because i hate the Devils and hawk nose, (from a side view check out Brodeur’s nose. It looks like a bird beak) but because the Kings deserve it with their post season play. As well as the fans of course. And hopefully with this win Maw-tyyyy will retire once and for all.

Give the Kings their due. They run through the top three seeds in the west, and then get questioned when they don’t sweep the Devils? Makes you wonder what qualifications are required to be a sportswriter these days. Apparently knowledge of the sport being covered didn’t make the list.

As a Blackhawks fan, I’ve got no dog in the proverbial fight, but I wouldn’t mind seeing the Kings win, especially since it’d be their first Cup in franchise history. Regardless, it’s been a great series to watch, and this is the, hands-down, best spectator sport on the planet.

Friends, this is “Yankee” reporting at it’s absolute worst ! The smarmy, conceited, “money-grubbing” east-coast arrogance is literally “oozing” from my computer here, as I type these words of reason to you. In a way, I suppose that this isn’t surprising at all ? But nonetheless, it’s very disappointing all the same. Here our beloved Kings have stormed to the very pinnacle of victory and yet these “uppity” east-coast pansies have the nerve to call us out ? Come Saturday night friends or the next, the bottom line is that “we” Kings are going to be “taking care of business” and then these idiots can deal with their own flotsam !

East coast west coast no matter the deal the Kings are a small market team and so is the fan base … it also don’t help how many NHL teams are in the state alone .
That being said if the Kings end up being the real deal and not being a one team wonder like most teams the past few years than im sure the reporters and such might develop clue about the sport in LA.

You would figure the Kings weren’t even in the 2012 Stanley Cup from the way some of these guys report.

It has been more of a “Here’s why the Devils lose” as oppose to “Here’s why the Kings won”.

It has been like that except for against Phoenix cause the East Coast media didn’t give two craps.
