Ok to recap
Habs hire a GM who has no experience, got a promotion because someone higher than him left Chicago, was in charge of draft and player development for 2 years, during those two year he did nothing noteworthy.

The re-hire a coach that no team in the league would give a head coaching job to again.

Hire Mellanby….nice player, has nothing outside of that to hang his hat on.
And now former draft bust and free agent bust Marty Lapointe. Who again, nice lil player, but has a whole 2 years of experience as a scout, who isn’t credited with any type of success while scouting.

An entire off-season of unqualified shot in the dark hirings for a franchise as great as the Habs.
