Q. What can you guys do to win this game?

A. Well we’ve thrown out every hockey cliche we can about just getting pucks on net and trying for rebounds. I mean, I guess the only option we really have left is to actually -try-. Maybe if we put an extra bit of curve on our sticks, we can get the puck elevated.

In all seriousness…the Devils need to pull SOMETHING out if they’re going to stand a chance of surviving tonight.

To listen to the announcers, all the Devils need to do is elevate the puck when they shoot. The way they’re bemoaning the inability to get it up, you’d think it was a Viagra commercial.

The devils need to grow a pair in this series if they want to stand a chance to make a comeback. They need to hit more, maybe get a fight to spark the team. They need to jab at the puck while it’s under quicks pads. It seems like they let up to easily and are trying to be passive aggressive.
