Jagr played horribly against the devils. Good guy, good player, very old, very injury prone…. I can’t see Philly giving him a raise… I was hoping if anything it would be a pay cut for a shot at the cup. 3 mill for 1 year is a lot but I’d try it again.

It’s a smart move to keep bringing along Giroux and our younger guys. They need to watch his minutes during the season. We played him too much at the end and it zapped him by round 2 of the playoffs

Trust me Jagr is the least of the penguins worries. He wants to play in Philly ,good luck except when he plays the Pens!

Not mad at all. He helped us win a cup and played some of his best hockey for the Pens. At this point in his career he can play with whoever makes him happy.
