Didn't you see Keith Jones rip Radulov for his lousy performance in game 2 against Phoenix? Jonesy tore him up. He got caught deep in the offensive zone multiple times and didn't hustle back to play defense and he passed for crap. There's no freakin' way with his work ethic that he'd last under Tortz. He fled to the KHL once before. There's no reason to believe he wouldn't do it again.

There are some great Russian hockey players that have played in the NHL for years and you guys have named a good number of them. Radulov just isn't one of them.

Well there was a rumor going around that the Rangers had talked to the preds about Radulov, so its not impossible he might land in NY.

And you know what? As a Rangers fan I wouldn't mind that, IF its for the right price. For all the bad press Radulov got from his missed curfew... he really didn't play that bad in his time back. He did have some bad games against Phoenix, but for the most part he was pretty effective. In the nine games he played for the Preds during the regular season he had 3g, 4a, for 7p and a +3 rating. In the playoffs he had 1g, 5a, +2 rating in eight games. Those aren't bad numbers at all, especially for a guy coming back from a lesser league.

Theres no doubt there are risks and issues with him, but for the right price he could be a great addition to a team. Not to mention having a coach like Torts might actually help Radulov. Now I don't actually think he will end up in NY, and think its almost certain he will be going back to Russia... but I certainly wouldn't mind him being a Ranger next year.
