Regular season performance or playoffs or both?

Regular season: GAA Save% SO
     Quick 1.95 .929 10
   Lundqvist 1.97 .930 8

Playoffs:
     Quick 1.36 .950 3
  Lundqvist 1.82 .931 3

Pretty close in the regular season, although for most of the year Quick did not have the offensive support Lundy enjoyed. The most telling difference is in the playoffs, where Quick has shown his superiority. Bottom line: Quick has gotten better and better and is on the verge of winning the Cup. Lundqvist is sitting at home.

Hey PHT, how about a stat about the fewest games needed to win the Stanley Cup? With how perfect the Kings have been they have to be at least really close to the fewest. Just wondering....

Quick will not win the Vezina and I'm fairly sure that Lundquivist will get it with a 1.73 GAA, although Quick had 10 shutouts this year and probably deserves it just as much. Gonna be close.

He will for sure win the Conn Smythe though.

Monster game for Jonathan (Vezina) Quick. He's the reason the Devils are coming apart at the seams. Any other goalie in the league would have given up more than the two he has so far in this series, and one of them went in off a King. And a big thanks to the Philly Connection (Carter, Richards) for a fine goal. Is it just a coincidence that Simon Gagne gets on the ice for the first time in the playoffs (and first time since last year) and suddenly the Kings' PP clicks twice? Hmmm......
