LA should be proud of what they’ve done, but I’m glad they’re (at least publicly) still taking that “one-game-at-a-time-we-haven’t-won-anything-yet” mentality. They’re a bounce or two away from being DOWN 0-2, instead of ahead 2-0. But give them credit. I have no dog in this fight (Blackhawks fan, sorry), but I sure as heck am enjoying the quality of play. I wish they’d make this a best-of-31 series Got to love this time of year…

Meh, I picked the kings before the year started… If they win I will have been right 3 of the past 4 years…. LA is packed with talent and getting Carter was a huge boost. Now they look like my old Flyers but with a top goalie… Devils never could match those flyers even with a bad goalie in net so no way NJ wins this. Congrats to Gagne who will get to finally lift the cup although he isn’t playing.

Believe in “Destiny” friend !

When I first came here to PHT in January and began to speak of my vision, it was a very “barren” landscape to say the least ! … not only for an LA Kings fan such as me, but for an LA Kings fan who was speaking of winning it all ! I don’t know why I came here or what motivated me to do so ? The fact of the matter is, that I hate computers and all forms of electronic “techno” communication (ie: this is actually the only forum which I subscribe to or participate in on the internet). Nonetheless, the point is that I “did” come here to PHT and I began to speak of the greatness which is the Los Angeles Kings. And despite all the ridicule, scorn and insult which has been hurled my way, I’ve never for a second “wavered” in my belief that something very special will unfold this year for the team which has had my affections since 1973. Well now it appears that “that” special something is about to happen ! So call it whatever you like, whether that’s destiny, faith or luck ? The truth is that nobody really knows the answer and probably never will. So for me, I just believe that whenever you get a “calling” in life, then make sure that you always answer the door with all the “goodness, decency and conviction” that your heart can muster … always !

If I believed in destiny… last nights game would have PROVEN it.

That was sheer will and determination… and QUICK kept them alive.

Had to crush the Devils, who played their best hockey so far… and it wasn’t enough

Both ‘deserved’ to win.
