as a flyers fan, i found that a slap in face for other "special goals" he scored as a flyer. It shows the ignorance of this guy. But he's still having 2 bad shifts for every good shift plus he's still doing his trademark high and wide when he has a open net. Seriously, how can anyone root for this guy. he didn't report to Columbus when flyers told him goodbye and he stomp his feet around in Columbus so he get his way so he can be traded to la to be with his drinking buddy. I hope kings fans enjoy this because that team is going to self-destruct in two years. book it. The only people i am rooting for is Lombardi,Hextall and Gagne.

Don't forget Williams was a flyer too. In any case, as a die hard flyers fan it was a little bitter sweet last night. carter showing up in a big moment? Astonishing. I don't know who to root for.. Believe it or not probably the devils, only because it means I'll have to go to Vegas..

As the third period was winding down with overtime looming, I actually wondered if Jeff Carter might be our hero again tonight ? ... in my own strange way in fact, I probably did pray that he would be our savior ... well lo and behold friends, are we happening now or what ? :)

Glad to see Carter making contributions. He and Richards have fitted into the Kings' schemes nicely.

And thanks to the Flyer fans who are supporting the Kings, even if having a couple of ex-Flyers (one really an ex-Blue Jacket) on the roster doesn't really make the Kings into Flyers West. Maybe it's just that the current way the Kings forecheck (and body slam) reminds some of past Broad Street Bully teams without all the fighting. Now if we can just get Simon Gagne back into action you'd have another former Flyer to root for!

Calling up a couple of big bodies (King, Nolan) from the farm team made a big impact, too, as well as having Doughty finally getting his legs and doing some maturing. Darryl Sutter's the key, though. He kept all the other staff, but completely changed the team's mindset.
