The Edmonton scout was blowing smoke. The Oil will either pick Nail or trade the #1 to someone else who will. I suspect the former.

Grigo will likely be picked by MTL. Failing that, I don’t see him slipping past TOR at #5. The main injury concerns are Galchenyuk, Rielly and Koekkoek. Galy will likely also be a top 5 pick, Rielly a top 10 and Koekkoek a 15-25 pick…really not so far off where they would have been had they not been injured.

But “anything can happen” is a great storyline. Kudos, Jason!
