It would probably take an injury to a top six forward for him to move back in – an injury in the bottom six and it’s probably Clifford back in instead. Much nicer to have a guy with his skill and experience in reserve if necessary, though.

Barring significant injury, the problem is whom would the Kings make a healthy scratch to fit in Gagne? At this time, the team chemistry is superlative. Remember, if its not broke, don’t fix it.

I suppose you sit down Fraser, move Richardson to center or sit down Nolan. The problem, alas, is that the 4th line is being played by Sutter, and has a definitive role in his scheme. They don’t have to score to provide balance to the team.

Can’t see sitting down King either.

Pity .. would love to get Gagne back in ..

Simon Gagne is an excellent comrade and he will no doubt do “that” which is required in the “best” interests of our team … and that is to “stand by” and “be at the ready” should circumstances deem that necessary …

He made some big contributions early in the season before his concussion. I hope he gets to play in at least one game. That might be hard to do with the current team chemistry playing so well and everyone is pretty healthy.

He’s only flyer I’m rooting for to get a ring. He’s the ultimate professional. He’s going into flyers hall of fame after he retires.
