At some point in your life you have to understand if you have a problem or if you are immature. Kane has a problem. hopefully its an addiction and not that he’s a an @ss. You can get help for addictions.

There are plenty of 23 yr old and younger in the league that are doing the same things.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane apologized for the shirtless photos of himself and his teammates that surfaced this week, telling reporters it’s time for him to grow up.

Photos of Chicago Blackhawks forwards Patrick Kane, John Madden and Kris Versteeg made their rounds on the Web and beyond after The Vancouver Province’s Orland Kurtenblog ran photos of the players shirtless and partying in a limo with three fully clothed women.

The blog ran the four photos Tuesday, featuring the three hockey players drinking beer and posing for the camera in a limousine with three women. Kane, Madden and Versteeg apparently wanted to show off their hockey bods to the women–who kept their clothes on (for the camera, at least.)

“I’m 21 years old, but it’s probably time to grow up a little bit,” Kane told reporters, adding that the photos were not taken before the Hawks lost 5-1 against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.

“For us, obviously, it’s not the way we want to represent the team,” Kane said. “It’s been discussed internally with the team and it’s been figured out inside this locker room.”

A Hawks spokesman told the Chicago Sun-Times president John McDonough and general manager Stan Bowman would not be commenting on the pictures. The Blackhawks told the paper the situation would be handled internally.

yet you will never see the follow up story saying “sorry he really didn’t do it, the accuser was lying” and that person will then carry around the persona of whatever the false accusation was for the rest of his/her life.

On an earlier post someone brought up a similar story where Julien Edelman for the Pats was charged with groping a female and everyoine acted as if he should be banned from sports. When video evidence was released, it was proven nothing of the sort happened.

i say, prove it. how many people are out there just to see someone famous, and then try to exploit that fact by lying.

This isn’t saying all famous/athletes are innocent, but i think that there are more ass hats who would lie about a famous person doing something they didn’t do, than famous people actually committing these acts.

But no matter how big a Kane apologist you are, there’s really no excuse or justification you can give that explains away the allegation that he was choking women. The guy needs an intervention.

If the team had an issue, they would go to him privately, or if it was made public wouldn’t remain anonymous.
