That said, I agree that him playing with an injury is ‘as it should be’, not an exception.

Of these, a significant number have injuries that are borderline debilitating or worse. You know those real stinker games you see from time to time? Fatigue? Uh uh. Most players in those dud games are too effed up to play. That’s the joke about pro sports. People spend top dollar and / or a lot of time watching cripples trying to make it look good every game.

Saying “Well the reason he didn’t play well is because he was injured” does little to make Rangers fans feel better. lets not forget the big fear with Gaborik is that hes injury prone, and this doesn’t help that one bit.
