Already commented on this. Only places he has “dropped like a rock” are on Button’s list and Redline. Redline is controversial–if memory serves they had Duchene over JT for #1 in 2009–and Button has downgraded others who went higher before as well.

At the end of the day, if MTL & the NYI don’t select Grigo, TOR surely will. He’s not dropping out of the top 5.

The only way you can land Grigorenko is if he falls to #7 (Minnesota Wild), and Fletcher deals him to the highest bidder…. No chance Grigorenko falls past #5 tho. Most likely he goes second or third.

This kid has elite vision and is a big center. I wouldn’t worry about what Craig Button has to say. I think #3 to the Canadiens.
