Tomas Vokoun is a very good goalie. I hope he doesn’t go to Toronto. I love the fact that Fred Flintstone was at the last cup winning parade in Toronto! Go Laughs Go!

I could see being happy as an Av’s fan for that trade if they didn’t give up as much as they had.

I still think Wash fleeced you guys but everyone needs a good goalie pipeline, so I can understand the move…. a little bit

Seems to me that Varly needs a good goalie coach. He seemed so technically sound in Hershey, but in the NHL he kinda looks lost at times.

Have no doubt if he signs with Toronto and plays poorly, they will be able to trade him to any team for their best players, prospects and draft picks…..

I like Vokoun, and I think that Toronto could benefit from him. He may not be the most stellar goalie ever, but he’s still a damn good one. Put a decent defense in front of him and he’ll rock the house.

Vokoun seems to thrive when he faces a lot of shots, like he did every night in Florida. Perhaps, he’ll work out better in Toronto.

I still think Reimer will be a really good starter for the Leafs sooner rather than later. He was showing a lot of promise at the start of last year but he was never really able to regain that form after his concussion. But he’s displayed the physical and mental skills to play that difficult postion in Toronto.

A full year while healthy plus the mentorship of a veteran guy, be it Vokoun or Luongo, would definitely be a good thing for him and the Leafs.
