Those were my words friends, back at the start of game one against the Coyotes … and now here we are ! :) I do have to admit though, that initially I was disappointed about getting these Devils instead of the Rangers. I felt that after “all” we Kings have gone through, “this” is what we get at the end ? … some “pushover” team like the Devils ? But then I got to thinking about how my beloved game of hockey was almost vanquished back in the late 90′s, thanks to the dull & boring “shutdown” teams who ruled the day … and along with Dallas, these NJ Devils were perhaps the most culpable of all. So in the end, getting them instead of the Rangers is rather fitting after all ! We Kings now get an easier path to the Cup and in the process, we get to do justice to an organization who once heralded “boredom” as a form of entertainment !

GO KINGS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
