Getty Images Tomas Vokoun has declined a contract offer from a KHL club and is “solely focused on playing in the NHL next year,” according to his agent, Allan Walsh.
Vokoun, who will turn 36 this summer, went 25-17-2 with a respectable .917 save percentage this season in Washington. However, the groin injury that kept him out of the playoffs could make teams hesitant to sign him.

I enjoyed having Vokoun in Nashville, and I really hope he can find a team where he can thrive for his last few years instead of bouncing from team to team.

Good for him. Vokoun has always been a good guy and underrated goalie…hopefully he has a bounce-back year somewhere.
