I don’t recall anyone saying that they want “quiet, meek, boring candyass goalies”, and I’m going to go out on a limb (sarcasm) and make a general statement that we all “enjoy the sport and the “entertainment” or we wouldn’t be on this blog. We just don’t want to hear a goalie complain about a controversial hit or a blown call when he’s completely guilty of controversial AND non-controversial calls (obvious diving and slashing) or blown calls.

SMITTY SMITTY SMITTY!!! Are all you people perfect? Belfour, Hextall, and Roy all said and did things that make today’s goalie look like choir boys and you people want quiet, meek, boring candyass goalies to shut up play hockey. I on the other hand enjoy the sport and the “entertainment”. Who doesn’t like all the Bryz comments this year? C’mon get a life and live and let live. Fine Smith, Doan, Yandle, Tippett, the whole state of AZ if you want to Campbell, who cares.

Smith should start being honest with himself…his slash to the back of Brownie’s leg and his swing-and-a-miss to Richards after the GWG were as dirty as they come. If he wants change, he should start with himself. Until then, everything out of this guy’s mouth is GARBAGE. Go Kings Go!

It’s a shame that a great season is now overshadowed by these idiotic comments. Rather than crying, if the coyotes players look back on the series they’ll realize that if they played like they did in games 4 & 5 in games 1-3 the series would still be going.
If they want someone to blame for being out of the playoffs they just need to look in the mirror
