The guy is an Olympic Gold Medal winner. He holds the records for most overtime wins in net. The guy played behind a bunch of girls in Florida, where I saw him make over 60 saves in one game; then came to Vancouver, where he played behind another girls’ team and had to make 72 saves in one playoff game in 2007.

Luongo has seen more shots in his career than Lindsay Lohan. Give the guy a freakin’ break. With a decent team in front of him, he could well have been the second coming of Patrick Roy. (Thanks, Louie, whatever you do.)
