A. The further they go the higher his price goes up, the question to ponder is who is going to play in net for them next year. If they win, I have to imagine that is a good way for Marty to go out. I don’t think a team can afford Illya, ZP, and then be able to go out and get a above average goalie. If I’m ZP it would be tough to commit to a team that would have so many questions in net beyond this year. B. Marty is the best regardless of what happens this year, and will be impossible to replace!

You’re right screenjam. The Rangers came all this way and if they think they’re going to beat the Devils by playing the way they’ve been playing, they’re out of their minds. I think its ridiculous Torts has to call a time out in the first period every game to get them rolling. However, after they got rolling they dominated but Lundqvist unfortunately had a horrible night. Lundqvist has won too many games for anyone to be upset at him. That’s what happens when you rely on the goalie night in and night out. The Rangers need to kick it in high gear at the drop of the puck in game 6 like we know they can. Rangers will win games 6 and 7, they play best under pressure.

Huge Ranger fan here. I almost cried last night, for real. But ill tell you all what i told my son….its not the refs (although they have STUNK for both sides), its the Rangers. They have been outplayed the first 4 games and won 2 of em. Last night they dominated for the most part and lost. We were lucky the series wasn’t over in 4…..

If they play the way they played last night over the next game and hopefully 2, they should win. if they dont, they have NOONE to blame but themselves (and the fact they hit 8 posts in 5 games)

Very unlikely Parise doesn’t sign if the team makes the Cup finals and if they do get to the finals and win it, Brodeur leaves the game on a high note.
