Blue Jackets re-sign Ryan Russell

Minor transaction to announce – the Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed center Ryan Russell to a one-year, two-way contract.

Russell, 25, split time between the NHL and AHL in 2011-12, scoring twice in 41 games with the big club.

We told you it was a minor transaction.
