I agree completely, as this this article is nothing more than a lame attempt to sir the pot. The fact of the matter is that the Los Angeles Kings have crushed the three top teams in the Western Conference ! … say again … the Kings haven’t beaten the three top teams in the Western Conference … they’ve “crushed” them ! Most “real” hockey fans will recall that at the start of the year, the general consensus was that the Stanley Cup winner would be coming from the west this year. Well lo and behold, look what we’ve got now, eh ?

GO KINGS GO FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just watched Lundquist give up 4 and lose game 5 to the Devils on home ice…..Still respect him as a fine goalkeeper, but he’s definitely not invincible…..If the Devils make it, Brodeur is still a good player, but gives up more softies than he ever has; the tying goal tonight was brutal…..

Interesting ? When I first came to PHT here back in January, I seem to recall being essentially the only person extolling the potential of our LA Kings ? In fact, I remember many of the kindly remarks such as “nut, jerk, idiot, asshole, loser, freak” and so forth. Well pal, here we are in late May and look who’s playing for the Stanley Cup ? Need we say more ? Anyway, since I’m not one to “kick’em when they’re down”, I’ll instead offer you the following scenario in reply:

*** at a golf course somewhere next week ***

pro shop guy: hello sir, how may I help you ?

rainyday56: listen asshole, I wanna golf here ! … and I wanna golf here now !

pro shop guy: you don’t say ?

rainyday56: yeah I “do” say you idiot ! … now which way is it to the first tee ?

pro shop guy: Guards, kindly show this man to the first tee … “headfirst” !

rainyday56: what ? … hey man, what’s going on here ? … take it easy !

Guards: we said shut up ! … KAPOW ! … KABOOM ! … KAZAM !

Some of these stupid “reasons” shows that LA still has no respect. It’s almost as if you guys are looking for anything, anything at all negative to say about this team. Granted their PP is terrible, but it’s been like that and their still winning games. As for the long rest, I can see LA having some rust, but I also think they can overcome it f they do, and quickly.

Where did you read he blew out his knee? If you look at the video closely you will see as their bodies were colliding it was shoulder first and his knee came across making contact with the thigh, not the knee.

think you are spending too much time smoking the mystic at your mystic farm. Brownies lack of teeth is common in hockey. This must have been your first hockey game. Feel free to look around at the rest of the players and the league next year and you will see a lot of missing teeth. Even Gretzky was missing his front teeth and others.

The refs made bad calls on both sides the whole series. The next time your boys get in a real series they might want to show up for the first two games. If anyone paid the refs it was PHX in the first two rounds.

They will not be overconfident. They know how hard it has been to get here and they are focused on winning the cup.

The week off had no effect on them before the conference championships. Their power play will click along the way and when it does . . .

You might want to tie their skate laces together. They will bend but they will not break. They have solid experienced leadership who will lead them. Having 4 solid lines is huge. They can all score goals.

2/ Get a Captain that does NOT look like he belongs on Deliverence.
3/ and pray someone does not run a skate over Browns neck, like he did not knee a opposing player and blow out his knee…..
