Watch Milbury, Roenick vehemently debate the Dustin Brown hit

May 23, 2012, 11:07 AM EDT

Following Los Angeles’ 4-3 OT win over Phoenix last night, the NBCSN broadcast crew of Liam McHugh, Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick discussed the hot button issue of the evening: Dustin Brown‘s controversial hit on Michal Rozsival, the one that came moments before Dustin Penner‘s game-winning goal.

Things got heated between Milbury and Roenick as the two had distinctly different opinions about the play. Watch and enjoy…

Milbury is an idiot. He’s not even arguing the hit itself, he’s talking about the hit being after the whistle.

Love NBC but I can’t understand Jo

  3. acieu - May 23, 2012 at 11:42 AM

Marburg is a certifiable donkey dick.

  4. acieu - May 23, 2012 at 11:44 AM

Milbury is the correct spelling of Marburg so I am a donkey dick as well

He better watch out or Roenick will pull his blazer over his head

    Roenick knows how to fight.

But if Milbury gets a hold of JR’s shoe, then it’s all over.

  6. SmackSaw - May 23, 2012 at 12:12 PM

I had a good laugh watching this last night. I was waiting for them to put gloves on so they could drop ‘em.

  7. broomballking - May 23, 2012 at 12:31 PM

You guys are forgetting that the whistle was probably not heard due to the crowd noise.
I agree with JR…unfortunate that Rozival was injured but this is a part of the game.
Congrats and GOOD LUCK to the LA Kings!

Milbury is only on NBC because hes an idiot. Just like Bayless, Stephen A Smith and Colin Cowerd are on ESPN. They say ridiculous things which gets people to watch.

Also Milbury wants to finger someone…? Such a terrible saying.

  9. 1943mrmojorisin1971 - May 23, 2012 at 12:38 PM

I’d rather not listen to Mike Milbury talk about anything, but thanks. I’m sure he’s just being a pompous loud-mouthed devil’s advocate anyway.

    • 1943mrmojorisin1971 - May 23, 2012 at 12:54 PM

Ahh, I was right…I gave in, it’s like trying not to look at a bad car wreck.

  10. dukh8r - May 23, 2012 at 12:49 PM

If you take a fan and beat him with his own shoe….well, it does give mike some street cred.

  11. navzgm - May 23, 2012 at 2:01 PM

Milbury is a biased idiot, I can’t stand him at all. Also a bit surprised there were others who feel the same, not a fan of either team but I agree with JR on this one

sorry Kings fans, but your team is full of punks and P#$$ies. A stiff wind could blow those floppers over. Brown is nothing but a punk, and hes lucky the game was over before Doan whipped his but AGAIN! Good luck in the finals though… I hope he tries his bs on Rupp and Rupp teaches him a violent lesson. By the way, nice help from the refs…more no calls on the Kings than they called on the Coyotes…

Actually after seeing these two most of the year, I think they need to get a room together and “hash” it out in there.

Time to dump Milbury NBC no one likes him.

  15. callemlikeiseeem - May 23, 2012 at 10:52 PM

Lets be positive :-) Milbury always lets us know which team he is rooting for. He always points out their strong points and supports them regardless of reality or legality of what is going on. Roenick on the other hand loves hockey and calls it like it is. When Milbury is calling the game I utilize my mute button and listen on the radio. Life is good!!

  16. sbrowncreative - May 24, 2012 at 4:53 AM

    JR is correct.

  17. namriverrat69 - May 24, 2012 at 10:39 PM

The buffon wearing Milbury’s suit is a fool. Video shows the shoulder to shoulder hit and it also shows Brownies knee hitting Rozvisal’s thigh. Today it was announced there was no injury to Rozvisal’s knee. He took a hard legal hit a split second after the whistle and took full advantage of the situation getting assistance off the ice to enhance the injury in the refs eyes. It didn’t work. That is PHX hockey. Fall down or take a dive and whenever possible take a cheap shot at the opposition and claim it was the other guys fault. PHX sux.

    LONG LIVE THE KINGS!!!!!!!
