What goes around comes around………I hope the Devils just accidently run over Browns neck,like he accidently blew out another mans knee and career.
You need to watch that game again when Smith made a little TAP to the lower leg ,because of another dirty foul in that game…as he was being aggressed in his blue line. Yes, Brown will get his and it can’t be to soon for me.

McSorley made same hit on sweet Dougie Gilmour in 93. Difference was Wendell Clark stood up for his teammate. Quit whining and drop the gloves. Kings were better team flat out. Deal with it.

Finally some real hockey fans ! Cutting across a team’s defensive zone at high speed is equivalent to spitting in their faces, and to do it with your head down is just plain stupid…..Even if Brown had gotten a penalty, drilling the puck carrier was the right play…..

Okay, go ahead and call me a Neanderthal and a dinosaur, but I learned the game back when guys had to exert their will every night or get run out of the league; and the intensity of the playoffs is as close as today’s players get to those days……

well shanahan had no problem suspending several Coyotes players for far less than that hit…forgive me for saying this, but it sure seemed like the fix was in from the start. I reference the amount of calls against the Coyotes versus the Kings, and its around a 10 to 1 ratio…thats impossible. And im appalled that Hanzal got suspended for a similar boarding hit that wasnt even called in game 5! I dont care that my team lost, i care that the refs blew obvious calls against the kings while calling flops and other bs against the Coyotes…Game 4 was actually an evenly called game, look what happened…

Being in and out of the playoffs doesn’t matter for suspensions.

Smith’s swipe with his stick after the game winning goal MISSED hitting any Kings player.

When Shanahan doesn’t even consistently penalize players who CONNECT and HURT other players, he’s suddenly going to suspend someone who MISSED connecting?

It’s clear that intent means zero in Shanahan’s mind. Otherwise Weber would have been suspended for ramming someone’s head into the glass.

It’s really tough for Phoenix to play an entire series 6 on 5. It’s amazing to me that the NHL has world class athletes, yet 3rd rate officials, who aren’t qualified to ref my ten year olds games.

I said it elsewhere and I’ll say it here, Coyotes players need to check themselves. They lost in 5, not in 7. It’s not like the series was decided either way with the poor reffing in last night’s game, they missed multiple penalty calls on both teams.

I lost count, actually.
