Watch the video, DeBoer starts the exchange before Torts goes to the end of the bench and then DeBoer follows. And let’s get this straight, Rupp gave Marty a short jab to the chest not a shot to the mask as is reported in the article. I’ve always hated how goalies have basically been untouchable and was just discussing with friends why you can’t check a goalie when he comes out of the crease to play the puck. My dislike of this goes back to Billy Smith days

It’s usually these blog writers who ignore the facts. DeBoer didn’t go to the divide until Torts started making his way toward it. And he barely leaned around it, same as Torts. You exaggerated that bit as well as Brodeur did getting hit by Rupper! Let’s Go Rangers!

You don’t touch the goalie. That’s just how it is. Not saying I like how much goalies can get away with, I’m just saying if you so much as look at a goalie wrong his teammates are going to step in. That’s hockey.

LOL, this is so exaggerated. He shoved him in a routine hockey scuffle way. This happens all of the time. Goalies want to run their mouths they are gonna get hit. So?

Marty ran his mouth and he got shoved. Not sure what the big deal is. Getting shoved happens after about 50 percent of hockey whistles.

Like listening to a bunch of woman. Its playoff hockey, and things like this are gonna happen.

I friggin love it.
