Pretty poor reporting by Joe Yerdon when he says the Devils scored on the resulting power play. The PPG was at least 3 minutes earlier, and the 3-0 deficit is what led to the shenanigans. Brilliant

They don’t need to win the fights, just have 2 guys fight Rupp in the same period. Win or Lose it’s about principle. And nobody likes to have to fight 2 times in the same period, it requires so much energy that it’s almost an unwritten rule that a 2nd player does not pick a fight with a guy who already fought that period.

Rupp took a shot at your goalie and got away with it, your goalie who is the 3rd best of all time. A Hall of Famer.

The Rangers actually completely dominated all of those resulting power plays. New Jersey scored on an earlier one.

Read what hockeyfan763 said first. Second it’s henrik and I am willing to bet more than anything marty said something to Rupp. On top of that Bernier did try to literally jump him with his flying attack that rupp just ended up sticking a hand out and sending him flying. What he did was not that bad everyone needs to relax. Was it illegal? yes. Stupid? yes. Dangerous? no it was not everyone needs to calm down and anyone touches Rupp we’re getting some big boys back in the lineup that can actually play so it would be a dumb move on their part.

The only problem with your plan is that the only guys on your roster who can give Rupp a good fight are in the stands because the aren’t good enough to dress for the playoffs.

Good Shanny should be doing nothing, but 1st shift Rupp takes. Id tap a guy on the shoulder to take him the f’ out. And not once either, he’s going to be forced to drop the gloves 2 times by 2 different players or take a beating.

He can choose to pull a Boyle and cover up and put his team on the PP if he wishes, but he better be ready and my god I don’t want to hear the crying that he was jumped or suckered when it happens.

And if my Goalie got touched again, Im telling my 4th liners to run King Hendrick until a war breaks out.
