He’s the reason why the Nash deal fell through they weren’t giving him up. And thank god for that. I still think they should have gone for Dustin Brown from LA. Look at Brown now.

Speaking as a Rangers fan, I was dubious. I mean really, going from college hockey to the Stanley Cup Playoffs in one step? It seemed to be a situation begging for disappointment.
But, the kid has talent. He has grit. He has SPEED.
I’ve been suitably impressed, and thankful to have his much needed boost for the team.

Barring injury he’ll be a quality player, just what quality we’ll have to see after a season or two. But I’m quite hopeful.

Great playoffs…fun to contemplate his future… but nothing else proven yet.

How about we give him some time in the league that THEN talk about ‘Greatness’.

That said, kudos and congrats for his brief intro performance.

Can you just imagine when the kid gets to have a regular training camp to learn the Rangers system how much more he will fit in? Oh, yeah, and one of Tort’s bag skates at the beginning of camp!

trust me, this kid played under Jerry York for 3 years. I’m a student there now, and saw most of Kreider’s game, and he looks about as fresh as he did at the beginning of the season. He’s a huge asset to the Rangers for the rest of the conference finals and (if they get there) the Stanley Cup finals. And I’m a Devils fan.

Speaking of the Habs, I can’t help but hope that Kreider does better after his breakout playoffs than PK Subban has after his. Kreider doesn’t seem like a hot-headed cheapshot artist so he should be fine.
