Mike Smith is the most dirty goalie I’ve ever seen. Not to mention a drama queen. It doesn’t take much more than a player to skate by him and he’ll throw himself on the floor as if a truck hit him. So maybe Tippet should talk to his own team about embellishment before accusing other teams for doing it. The linesman who called that embellishment call on Brown should have been suspended.

Another terrific article from Yerdon which isn’t so much a news story, as it is a “statement of fact” … well done sir ! Yes, Tippett was indeed grasping at straws by trying to question the King’s integrity the other night. It was flat out wrong and he knew that at the time. But he has come to his senses quickly enough and therefore we hold nothing against him. Nonetheless, it can’t be easy for these coaches like Tippett, Hitchcock or Vigneault ? Their teams are all excellent and loaded with talent, just like our LA Kings. But what they don’t have which the Kings do is “love” … and without love, it will never be the same, no matter how hard you try …
