The Kings look like the #1 seed. Assertive aggressive hungry. This one will be over very quick. I pick them to win the Cup.

Despite the score… the Coyotes didn’t appear to believed they belonged on the same ice. It’s been LONG time since I’ve seen that tentative… almost apologetic manner of entering the offensive zone. They looked painfully fragile and unsure of each pass and move.

Tippett can whine all he wants… the Coyotes deserved to lose by every means necessary last night.

One thing is for sure. This team really likes each other. They have ALL bought into the style Sutter is coaching. Whenever they are interviewed you constantly here them complimenting each other over and over. They love playing together and are so fine tuned, playing one game at a time, it is hard to envision them not winning the Lord Stanley’s Cup.

Terry Murray needs to receive some credit for taking these guys as young players and teaching them the style of defense and game they play. The defense was there but the offense was sputtering so Lombardi with much criticism brought in Sutter. Sutter fine tuned the team, at the trade deadline installed nitro (Jeff Carter) and the Kings have been on a roll buillding to this tremendous crescendo which will reach the loudest pitch in about 3 weeks.

It wasn’t too long ago before he was hired that most off of the comments were that he was a bust and would ruin this team. I’m sure this run has them eating crow. Whether they win or lose (which they won’t) he has shown what a top notch coach he is.

What an incredible run. As I no longer have a dog in this fight I can only hope that this run of dominance runs a few more weeks.

it’s that which will be, regardless of whatever “you” or “they” try to do about it … personally however, I think of it as nothing more than justice, or the “balance of nature” if you will …
