At this point, it’s almost a kind of performance art. I think it’s a very sad comment on hockey media that they would be happier if Torts sat there and wasted ten minutes spouting tired, clichéd answers to their lame, boilerplate questions. I truly can’t recall a time where a post game press conference yielded anything of substance.

Love Torts honesty with the media asking the same unintelligent questions every game. Was the effort their type question. Hello media that’s an opinion question, and part of your job is to write your own observations. But then again Journalists of today like to take the easy way out.

That’s right. You are all writing about Torts, Torts and more Torts instead of the benching of Gaborik, Anisimov, and the massive interference that Elias got away with on Girardi on Kovy’s wide open shot (that was wide open because of the MASSIVE interference by Elias that went uncalled-watch the video-there is no argument about what should have been an absolute penalty and a no goal)!

He may be a jerk, and maybe fans deserve answers- but I think he does this for his team. All the media attention seems to be on him- they say he’s creating a distraction- but its not a distraction for his team. I think its his style, and its gotten him the cup before.

Are there any writers who have played the game or aren’t giant babies? I don’t think so.

I enjoy watching hockey because of the game itself not because some glorified, overweight blogger who’s never laced up a pair of skates tells me his opinion.
No one cares about writer’s half-truths and agenda-driven drivel

Grow-up and stop with the jealous act. The NHL isn’t about you, it’s about the players and coaches.
