I’m convinced Callahan is hurt. I’ve read some rumors that he broke a hand or finger blocking a shot in the Ottawa series. Only explanation I can think of for him to be so invisible offensively.

I disagree I think Pierre’s knowledge of the game and it’s players are second to none, I would like to hear more of him and certainly less of Milbury.

I understand pierre, milbury, roenick hatred, but not doc emrick. The guy has a way with words and phrasing things uniquely. I think he brings excitement to the game, and he is also very knowledgeable about the game and its players. He also does this without referencing the world juniors every two minutes and calling the younger places special or fine young men (pierre mcguire)

Sure, it would be great if he would score 2-3 goals in every game, but Rangers are playing different style of hockey…

Gaborik should have been benched long before this. He might have had a couple big goals, but hes all but vanished in the playoffs. Thats not acceptable for your top scorer, and he needs to be held accountable for his awful play. He only has 4 goals in 16 games…which is a pace thats about half what he was scoring in the regular season. Its also worth pointing out that Chris Kreider has just as many goals as Gaborik does, and hes done it in fewer games and with far less ice time. Thats a problem.

Perhaps NBCs “Man between the glass” should let it be known when a team’s leading scorer is a fixture on the end of the bench. 10 minutes into the third before NBC figured it out, then Pierre says “He’s been sitting next to me the whole period”. Bravo!!
