rangers are in trouble? because after two games the series is tied? last two series started off 1-1 after two games and the rangers came out ahead in both of them. also consider the season series between these two teams was tied 3-3. if this series plays out the same way that will leave them with a game 7 at msg. the rangers are 2-0 in game 7′s at home in the playoffs. I think its a bit early to claim they’re in trouble.

The problem with the Garden ice is that the Garden in on the 5th floor.

Without solid ground underneath, it will never have good ice.

I love all these devil fans now. Watch out for a blood bath. Rangers are introuble. The refs are on the ranger side. Lol you guys got one win which really could of went either way. Lol don’t get too ahead of yourselves. Marty and lundqvist play great. Good series match. Games are going to at least 6 if not 7. Be smart.. Don’t be an online prick.

Did anyone really expect a short series? A win in the first game does not guarantee you the series just like a win for the opposition to tie it does not guarantee the series. Any time the Atlantic plays each other both teams show up for great battles that usually do not dictate how they play against other teams. Despite the Islanders being one of the worst teams in the league the past few years the battles are there every time they face each other. This is not going to be a short series by any means and while the devils won the second game of the series and played better than the Rangers for most of it I hate to burst bubbles but realistically it means jack squat. The rangers have lost the second game of every series in these playoffs and ended up winning the series. Still got at least a week left boys don’t get too happy on other side. Also the benching for Gabs was because he was TERRIBLE. That is why yeah he was benched after he caused a goal by not getting the puck out but the entire game he sucked.

I agree with you on timing…If I would be the coach – Marian would play more… BUT I’m not and everybody must respect Torts decision (maybe Marian will score 2 in next game… I wish). On the other hand coach must take responsibility for his decisions lates (see Caps with Ovi)…

One really big key tip for all you Devil shooters out there is: every time a smart a55 Rangler goes down to block a shot, shoot it between the eyes for the kill!

Funny how there are complaints of the Garden ice when both Florida and Philly go on record stating the ice in newark has been slush for the post season. devil fans are the worst, uneducated, overweight and most (97.3%) have mullets who wear looney toon leather jackets. That, is something to be proud of
