Regardless this is a scary prospect considering the type of game the red wings play. Semin taking shots from redonkalous angles and datsyuk shooting backhand withou even looking a the goal.
They would also prob become the best shootout duo in the nhl

I read an article saying he’s one of a handful of players in the past few years that have broken the 40-goal barrier. Even though we can all point to problems we have with his play, elite scoring is a rare skill. Someone will probably give him what he wants, whether that is in the NHL or the KHL.

Good Value and Production will dictate Hollands moves.

Red Wings are totally in the drivers seat for the Free Agency Market.

Semin’s name has been linked to the Isles in the past. If PA Parenteau proves impossible to sign, I could see the Caps and the Isles trading rights and Semin getting a two year deal (he seems to object to the one year deals the Caps have been offering).

If the Isles draft Galchenyuk, playing for them might be appealing to Semin. Also, it’s possible that Kirill Kabanov will be on the roster this year. He certainly should see some time on it even if he starts the season in Bridgeport.And fellow Russian Evgenyi Nabokov is on the roster.
