After a lengthy career with the Caps it’ll be hard to see him go, especially what he done for us in the past.

Hopefully, we will get a coach that utilizes our offensive powers like OV, Backstrom, and finds a good replacement for Semin.

And don’t go believing the Caps are collapsing just yet, we still have 2 1st round picks I believe and a good chance to still get Suter and/or Kuz. We certainly have the cap space.

One thing though: Wideman and Shultz should get traded for better D-men. Everyone was mostly disappointed by their plays during the regular season and the playoffs. If for some reason they don’t go, then I don’t know… they better improve their D or else they’re the next Scapegoat Semins.

Sasha is a hell of a talent, love the way he back checks, but he is way to streaky on the offensive side of things, and he is an offensive guy. Would of loved to have him back with the Caps, but with his agent running his mouth I’d rather he move on. Frees up 6.7 mil for a replacement. Addition by subtraction.

Glad to hear he isn’t considering the KHL; he belongs in the NHL. From an agent’s perspective, might as well get the word out now, while 25 clubs (excluding Washington) are planning for next season.
