BTW – since the Hurricanes aren’t in a big media market and were not really ever in playoff contention this year, many hockey fans didn’t get to see Justin Faulk play. Folks, he’s as good a young defenseman as their is in the NHL. Had the Canes been in the playoffs, he would have been a Calder finalist. Of course being 20, he needs to physically mature, but his future is quite bright.

For those that think he’ll be offered up in a package for Jordan Staal. Forget it…
