Wow...I have read some inane comments here regarding the Yotes, but your post has set the bar so low I don't even know where to start. And a clip from "Tombstone" to boot?!?! Just wow. How quick (excuse the bad pun) did you jump onto the Kings' bandwagon?

"...hopefully sanity will finally prevail and this franchise gets relocated immediately to an indigenous home such as Seattle or Portland..." Yes, because it's just insane that a team who might gain stable ownership soon could possibly succeed in the Sun Belt. It's even crazier to think that the NHL and NBC would want to have a team in the sixth largest city in the U.S.

I would hate for facts to get in the way of a sane Kings fan remarkable prose, but please just stick to opinions on your own team and on the game itself.

It's cool that the Coyotes get some recognition, but when they reach the Western Conference Finals? I don't think it could've been any later than that, unless The AZ media finally starts covering them after they make it and win the cup.

A little too late, but the Coyotes need some more bandwagoners in their fanbase.

TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE ...

This newspaper coverage amounts to nothing more than the final gasp from a dying patient. The fact is that hockey has no place in the Arizonan desert, just as Dairy Queen has no business setting up shop in Antarctica. The entire concept is idiotic and completely ludicrous ! The original idea for the franchise may have had it's merits, with the intention of catering to affluent, condescending, Canadian snowbirds ? But that ship has long sailed, as those people were simply not buying. And you can hardly expect the locals there to pick up the slack en masse, anymore that you can expect Vancouver or Detroit to support a Polynesian coconut-juggling team !

Anyway, our Kings are going to be taking care of business, you can count on that. And when the dust settles from this series, which should be quick, then hopefully sanity will finally prevail and this franchise gets relocated immediately to an indigenous home such as Seattle or Portland ... God speed !

ps: sorry to the fine Arizonan folk who support the Coyotes ... please know that we Kings have no quarrel with you people ... while your removal is necessary, we still maintain a deep respect for your ardor and determination ...

*** special video selection which historically illustrates what's about to happen ***

featuring the Kings (Earps) taking out the Coyotes (Clantons & McLaurys)
